Myrtle Ave. Stormwater Station

This stormwater station has been in operation for decades to keep the Myrtle ave. tunnel from flooding until it finally failed in January of 2021. After lots of engineering and planning work was finally able to start breaking ground in early 2023. We were happy to step in on this project with JB Coxwell Cotracting and PBM Constructors. As the original wetwell remained on bypass by means of a portable diesel pump, we were able to begin installing the new electrical infrastructure while PBM handled all of the stainless piping, wetwell modifications and forcemain work. Barneys pumps supplied 50 HP KSB submersible pumps with controls from ECS.
